Exciting news, as you’ve managed to clear the last remaining stretch goal at $200,000! With this unlock, the incredible Yuzo Koshiro won’t just provide a special 8-bit music track for the Infinity soundtrack: this track will also be getting a complete arrangement, which will be included in the arranged soundtrack CDs and vinyls! It’s an honor to have Mr. Koshiro join us on the arranged soundtrack, and we’re just as eager as you to hear what he has in store for Infinity. Thank you once more to everyone who contributed, for helping us get through all of our stretch goals and break $200K in just 4 days! It’s no small feat, and we’re excited to have the opportunity to bring you an Infinity worthy of such support!

Day Two Updates

As we enter day two of our campaign, we just wanted to provide another quick update!
First of all, we wanted to quickly address the situation regarding the rights to Infinity, as there was some unclear wording on our campaign page. We have updated the relevant sections of our campaign page to be more clear on this. We’ve been working very closely with the entire Affinix team, and we do have a legal contract with them to secure the rights to Infinity. We apologize if this wasn’t clear initially.
In addition, our campaign continues to exceed expectations, as we’ve now surpassed $150,000 and unlocked our stretch goal for Spanish, Italian, and German localization! With this success, there has been a lot more demand than anticipated for tiers such as our collector’s edition. We want as many people to be able to enjoy Infinity as possible, and in that interest, we had initially increased the quantity of the collector’s edition from 200 to 400. Of course, we do not mean for that to detract from those early pledges for the collector’s edition, so we have decided to revert back to 215 copies of the collector’s edition (to account for pledges already made when the quantity was listed as 400).
For anyone looking to get their hands on a special edition of Infinity, what we are instead opting for is the addition of a new rewards tier! We are currently working on finalizing this tier, so keep an eye out for an update regarding that. We hope that this allows Infinity to get into as many hands as possible, while still keeping the exclusivity of the collector’s edition for early backers.

Another exciting update to share for today; perhaps some of you already noticed the little “project we love” badge below the trailer? It’s true! Infinity has been selected by Kickstarter to be featured across their website and in their newsletter as a project that they love, and we’re flattered.
We’re starting to feel like a bit of a broken record in saying this, but when publishing a twenty year old Game Boy Color game, there’s always the concern about how strong the demand will be. Having this prominent feature across all of Kickstarter certainly shows that the interest is still there, and of course, we could never have done it without your support, so thanks again for your incredible support!
